Office Clerk

We are seeking a part-time Office Clerk for a local Social Services Department to assist the Care Council Coordinator with all clerical duties as assigned. Duties include attending/setting up for meetings and events. Also, creating meeting minutes for Board meetings and Subcommittee meetings. Employee must be flexible with their schedule and may be asked to attend weekend events. Additional duties: administrative assessments, printing out training materials/handouts.

General job description:

The position entails clerical duties which include:

  • Use Microsoft Word to prepare memos, correspondences, etc.
  • Create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Type memorandums as needed.
  • File paperwork in personnel files
  • Possess verbal and communication skills along with time management skills.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and returning calls as needed.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) years of experience in clerical/customer service.

Pay Rate:

  • $12.50/hour

Schedule:

  • 30 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 5:00pm
  • Weekend events (as needed)

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
