Community Outreach Coordinator

Tamarac, Florida

Duties:

  • Coordinate the provision of social services with City residents and service providers
  • Gather information from City residents to determine needs, makes appropriate referrals, and conduct meetings with residents experiencing difficulties in areas such as health, wellness and financial challenges
  • Case referrals, community health events
  • Coordinate social services programs
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment and orientation
  • Process financial and scholarship fee waivers
  • Coordinate tax preparation appointments for the VITA tax program

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
